Auto Shippers congratulates Toyota on a large accomplishment for both the company and the nation.

Toyota lent its engineers to Yellowstone National Park to lend a little of their know-how to the National Park’s engineers as they collaborated to build the Old Faithful Visitor Education Center. According to motortrend.com, this building is, “the first national park visitor center to gain Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Certification.” The engineers at Toyota became experts on this topic when building Toyota’s office complex in Torrance, California. When it was built, it was the biggest environmentally-friendly building in the country.

After the partnership was completed, Toyota also donated a one million dollar gift to Yellowstone Park.
The new building includes art exhibits that are hands-on, classrooms, a library and a movie theater. Karen Bates Kress, president of the Yellowstone Foundation, “ Yellowstone, and every park visitor, has greatly benefited from our partnership with Toyota.” Cheers.
