Ford once again proves the reliability of its brand with a surprising winner.

The 2011 Ford Fiesta is voted as a Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The first mini-car to get voted onto the list, the eighth Ford vehicle to be voted a Top Safety Pick by the IIHS.

There are several reasons why the Fiesta is on the top of the safety picks. Some of these include the extensive airbags installed into the Fiesta, high-quality steels, a solid front-crash structure and Side and Cabin Enhancement Architecture. Fiesta also boasts a “energy-absorbing body structure” that “absorbs and redirects crash forces away from the passenger compartment”.
The featured steel in the Fiesta is so reliable due to its extreme hot and cold formations.

With the Fiesta, Ford proves how technology can make even the smallest vehicle a star in safety. Auto Shippers would like to congratulate Ford on this deserved recognition.
