While many costs are going down around the country, there are some brands that can afford to stay up.

Luxury vehicle brand BMW announced in late September that, “it will raise prices on most U.S. models an average of 1 percent effective October 1st,” according to an article on autonews.com.

The increase breaks down close to the following: 1-series prices will go up by $300, the 3-series by $500, and many of the 7-series sedans, Z4s, and X5s crossovers will be experienced a $500 increase.

BMW announced that many prices are going to remain the same, including, “the redesigned 5 series, introduced earlier this year; the ActiveHybrid X6 and 6 series; the ActiveHybrid 7 and the 5-series Gran Turismo.”

The article offered no explanation why the prices will be raised in October. However, our auto shipping companies know that businesses often have to make tough decisions – BMW most likely had sound logic for this price increase.
