Looks like BMW’s Mini brand is not content just to stay in the car business.

According to an article on USAtoday.com, Mini shared three concepts for a Mini Scooter E at the Paris Motor Show in late September. Apparently, the E stands for electric. Clever.

Reportedly the scooters will be, “spontaneous, flexible, CO2-free mobility. Using as smartphone as the ignition key, the concept integrates infotainment, communication and navigation systems. The MINI Scooter E Concept is powered by an electric motor which can be recharged at any conventional power socket using an on-board charging cable.” Mini is renowned for producing small, reasonably priced trendy vehicles for the big city sets. Scooters are a natural progression for the company to provide an even cheaper alternative to cars for those in cityscapes.

Our auto shipping companies love the ingenuity and are excited to see the final three models. We wish the Mini brand good luck in their scooting endeavor.
